Alan Durant is the author of a number of books for young adults, including Blood, The Good Book, Publish or Die and a volume of short stories, AShort Stay in Purgatory. He also writes fiction for younger children, as well as picture books and poetry. He has contributed stories to a number of collections, but this is his first compilation. He lives just south of London with his family.
