Chains and Rings

Chains and Rings is part of the Cambridge Modular Sciences series for A and AS levels. It builds on the material introduced in Foundation Chemistry and covers all the topics in organic chemistry required by the A level common core. It describes both the theoretical and practical aspects of organic chemistry, and there are frequent references to industrial processes. There is also coverage of synthetic routes. To help students with study and revision, there are self-assessment questions throughout the text, a list of learning objectives at the start of each chapter and a summary of contents at the end. Structured and essay questions also appear at the end of each chapter.
