Ethics of Retaliation

The Ethics of Retaliation presents a complex and integrated investigation that questions prevailing philosophical thinking. Providing a critical analysis of retaliation in its various forms, it explores the ethical legitimacy --or illegitimacy -- of retaliatory conduct in different contexts and the bearing this has on key ethical issues. An evaluation of retaliation in relationship to criminal justice ethics and political ethics is also examined.
