Description
Turbulence is one of the least understood phenomenon but governs almost every process in this world. "Turbulence is everywhere".In this short study, the combustion process inside our Gasoline Direct Injection engines is simulated and explained in reference to the turbulence which is responsible for fuel-air mixture and thus ultimately power generation that drive our vehicles. The study is carried out at early and late injection timings of fuel inside the combustion chamber of an engine cylinder. Also, it gives you a glance of the coupling of Star CCM+ with GT Power, two very powerful simulation software into our automotive industry these-days.
