David Twain spent many years in the pet supply business, from distributor and retailer to importer-which took him to China, England, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Nepal. It was on these lengthy flights that David passed his time by writing poetry and short stories. He has written more than 350 poems and short stories, including magazine articles, three autobiographies, and two musical CDs with twenty original songs. An ardent student of Jewish history, he became interested in the lives of Holocaust survivors during his extensive research, which culminated in his writing The Precious Few.
