Some Applications of Fixed Point Results in Biological Sciences

This is the first exposition of the main principles of fixed point theory and its applications to the biology. This book contains Banach's fixed point theorem and its applications to a linear system of equations, ordinary differential equations, and integral equations. It also contains two problems of biology, one is about the predator-prey relationship model and the other is about the Rotenberg's model, describing the growth of cell population.
