Karate

This karate manual puts the emphasis on fundamental techniques and basic drills and shows how each move should be made. When students move from one technique to another, there are rules of hip/ankle movement and weight distribution through the stance that have to be adhered to, otherwise power is lost and injuries can occur. The authors were both taught by Japanese instructors in the classical way with great attention to detail, and this is what they wish to pass on through this book. Aidan Trimble won the World Individual Title in 1983 in Tokyo and Dave Hazard was a top karate competitor.
