Description
This collection marks the EASA Book Series' 50th volume and celebrates collaborative forms of knowledge production in anthropology. It is organized around eight key themes and concepts that have marked anthropological debates in Europe over the past 20 years. Featuring engaging contributions, anthropologists from different generations and backgrounds come together to collaboratively reflect on questions that keep recurring throughout the book series. As a tribute to anthropology in and of Europe, the book is an experiment in collaboration as much as a testament to anthropology's vitality and relevance in a world which sees itself confronted by challenges of planetary dimension.
Reviews / Votes
"This is an impressive overview of the current state of social anthropology in Europe. The coherence of the thematic sections offers an exciting range of dialogues which means that as a whole, the book is generally accessible, at times playful and thoroughly thought provoking." * Patrick Laviolette, the Politics of Repair book series"This is a valuable contribution to mark the 50th volume of the EASA Book Series by bringing together diverse perspectives on anthropology in and of Europe. I was excited by the flexible yet cohesive framework the editors offered for exploring complex issues without being overly prescriptive." * Rozita Dimova, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje
