A tale torn from the pages of history! It's the late 19th century in America's WILD WEST, the gold rush is winding down and people are hungry for a new commodity: JOKES! When the frontier town of Slapstick decides to hold a comedy contest to crown the funniest person in the country, they turn their gallows into a stage and hundreds of cowboys, killers, philosophers, militants, sadists, improv comedians, and ventriloquists descend upon it.
