Description
Nick Arnold has been writing for Scholastic for over eight years, clocking up over 20 titles in the Horrible Science series. When he is not writing, Nick spends his time travelling around the UK, giving talks to children in bookshops, schools and libraries. He has recently moved to Devon, England. David Tomlinson is a primary school teacher, who has recently returned from a two-year assignment with the VSO in Nigeria developing their national curriculum and writing culturally-appropriate teaching resources to support that curriculum. Tony De Saulles trained in graphic design, but since illustrating the Horrible Science series, has been concentrating on his illustrative style. Internet Vet is the first series he has written and illustrated. His own family are animal mad, and Internet Vet gives him more than a few ideas for the books, as well as plenty of reference for his research.

These stand-alone photocopiable resources provide a wealth of learning that is closely linked to the QCA Scheme for Science as well as the science curricula. Each fun photocopiable is accompanied by teachers' notes providing a clear learning objective together with suggestions for how to use the photocopiable within a lesson. This means that the photocopiable can be easily incorporated into teachers' existing planning.
