Like finding the headwater of a stream, Scripture can instill in us insatiable curiosity for more. As a compass depicts a way to know where we are going physically, so God leads us through the Holy Spirit's pointers. Perrla B. Timms began a journey of discovering a church that was a fit for her. God pointed her to a community congregation which had five-minute readings each Sundays, what specific Scriptures meant to them. Many years and Scripture readings since her first, Timms has acquired insightful and down-to-earth wisdom of God's Word that can only be taught through true faith and real-life experiences. Perrla Bayner Timms is a busy, but balanced healthcare worker and mother. Her hobbies include writing, cooking, shopping and being with family. She enjoys her "oldies music" and good movies for much needed escapes. Perrla has earned a degree from the University of Tennessee and obtained two insurance licenses. While she has traveled some, the hills of East Tennessee beckoned her back and she resides there presently. Thankfully alone now, she can visit her three grandchildren and their respective parents, when she is not preparing for Scripture studies.
