She has won many prizes in creative writing in India, and documents school life in her blog, A Bibliophile's Thoughts. Danica Da Silva Pereira is an illustrator of children's books including The Little Rainmaker (with Roopal Kewalya). Born in Goa, India, she now lives in Cambridge but continues to be inspired by her ethnic culture for her illustrative work. She has an MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, and her clients include Penguin Random House, World Vision and Himalaya Personal Care.
