Barry Timms is an award-winning storyteller who enjoys the way books bring people together. He grew up in the rugged Cornish landscape but now lives by a South London water tower and is a city boy at heart. Barry can often be found with pencil in hand, writing or drawing or both. Barry likes road-trip movies, ghost trains and exploring forgotten side streets. Laura Borio used to draw on the kitchen walls as a child, to the delight of her parents. Once she realised that she liked drawing on paper more, she decided to become a children's book illustrator, and now her days are filled with sketches, colours, cats and raspberry jam croissants.
