This book is the second English edition of an international best-seller on electronic circuit design and application. It now has a new title as it is not only completely updated but also more comprehensive. Written for the student and the practising engineer and scientist, the book covers all important aspects and applications of modern analog and digital circuit design. Part I concentrates on analog and digital circuits, on operational amplifiers, combinatorial and sequential logic and memories. Part It is application oriented. Each chapter offers various solutions to a given problem, thereby enabling the reader to understand ready-made circuits or to proceed quickly from an idea to a working circuit. Often the design approach is illustrated by an example. Analog applications cover such topics as analog computing circuits. The digital sections deal with AD and DA conversion, digitial computing circuits, microprocessors and digital filters.
