Longman Gnvq Science: Foundation Level: Introduction to Gnvq Science

The "Longman GNVQ Science" series provides full coverage of all the mandatory units required at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels. This introductory booklet is accompanied by a Science GNVQ ringbinder. It explains to students what they need to know before beginning the course; provides guidance on the processes involved in GNVQs; and gives hints on action planning, assessment and grading procedures. To help students understand the issues covered and encourage them to develop their own investigations, an activity-led approach is adopted. Core skills have been integrated throughout the material: projects and assignments which encourage specific core skills are indicated in the student's material and are also discussed in the "Teacher's Guides".
