I would like the reader to know that, although I wrote this story, I could not have done so without the help and support of Zanba, a female Mountain Gorilla ¿¿¿¿.In fact, I am not only the narrator, but that little boy with the wide, admiring eyes who you will met on the sailing clipper Cutty Sark.I grew up in Africa in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. I have spent time as an adult teaching in Zambia.This book was a joy to write, as I have a deep interest in the conservation of the natural world and the negative effect on the gorilla's ¿¿¿¿ habitat. I am aware of illegal poaching and the abduction of endangered species. This book is dedicated to those who show courage and kindness. Those who stand bravely against oppression to help others, even in the faith of danger.So, for now, farewell, and may Mother Earth ¿¿¿¿ protect you.
