Description
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." - Isaiah 43:19
When Karen and her family moved from the UK to the USA, she expected a new chapter. What she didn't expect was for everything familiar to be stripped away.
Uprooted from the life she knew, Karen watched anxiety and depression creep into their home. Her own sense of identity and belonging unraveled in a place that didn't feel like it would ever be home. Alone and far from everything that once anchored her, she found herself questioning whether God was truly as loving and good as He said He was. But God wasn't finished with her story.
In the middle of what looked like the wilderness, He showed up-exposing fears and past hurts that had quietly kept Karen at a distance from Him-and used His streams to heal what had long run dry in her heart.
Streams in the Wilderness serves as an altar to God, marking all that He has revived in Karen and her family for generations to come. It is filled with testimonies as a reminder to trust that no matter how barren the season seems, God is present and is doing a new thing.
If you're walking in the wilderness, consider this book your reminder: God doesn't just meet you in it-He creates life-giving streams through it.
