Finsolve

Finsolve is a series of interactive spreadsheets that are used in conjunction with the program LOTUS-123 to solve most of the problems found in any standard financial management textbook. This manual and disk is intended to complement textbooks. Use of these interactive models should significantly develop knowledge of finance and allow users to focus on the significance of results while reducing the necessity for performing calculations. The models are fully menu-driven and users do not have to have any experience with spreadsheets or LOTUS-123. There are several helpful hints throughout the manual and disk that should allow users to progress at their own pace. The following key areas are covered: time value of money, valuation, risk and return; capital budgeting; working capital management; short-term financing and planning; statement analysis and forecasting; and long-term financing.
