Enduring to the End

All too often we see supposedly stalwart friends and loved ones lose their way and slip into church inactivity or even apostasy. What causes this, and could it happen to us? This book carefully identifies 12 major causes of apostasy from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and then examines how each symptom is treated in the scriptures and from the mouths of modern-day prophets. The author points out that apostasy can start in many ways. These causes range from the obvious such as "Unrepented Sin" to more subtle reasons such as "Prosperity and Riches" and "Intellectual Superiority." The author then uses the words of the prophets to help the reader avoid succumbing to Satan's tactics in our day.
