Kate Thompson (Author)
Kate Thompson spent much of her childhood with her nose in books, immersed in literary adventures. After a brief stint as a solicitor, Kate rediscovered her love of picture books, and now spends her days living on the south coast gleefully immersed in literary adventures of her own making.
Natelle Quek (Illustrator)
Natelle is an illustrator living and working in London. She has been drawing for as long as she could hold a pencil, and now focuses on children's illustration, with a particular interest in picture books and illustrated non-fiction. Her work is influenced by everyday life, childhood memories, heritage and animals. Natelle loves exploring themes of conservation, cultural diversity, and the commingling of real life experiences and fantastical adventures.
When not working, she loves to explore, hunt down delicious custard pastries with her husband, and cuddle her pets.
