Marc Thomas has been a college librarian, an historical society archivist, and a Federal government employee, retiring from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He has a bachelor's degree, a masters degree in library and information science, and a masters in theology. In 2011, Marc and his wife Margo retired to Savannah, Georgia. Since the COVID pandemic, which resulted in the compilation of his first published poetry book, he has become an active and amused poet, and frequently reads his poems at Savannah open mics.
