Description
In A Leap of Faith: A Mother's Journey, Christie Thomas takes readers on the roller coaster ride of mental and physical illness, abuse, loss, and grief, interspersing the ups and downs, curves and bends, with moments of exhilaration. The mother of four children, Christie honestly and transparently tells the story of her family's journey through childhood cancer, teenage suicide, and the death of two children. She recounts the day that she reconnected with her two boys, her father, and her mother, who are safe, happy, and waiting for her on the other side of the veil separating life and "death." As she awakened to the spiritual world, and her unique place in it, she discovered new purpose and joy in the adventure of life. This is a story of suffering and loss, but also of love, hope, resilience, support, and the search for meaning.
