Description
Based on a deep understanding of the means to manage strategic decisions and business benefits, the author draws on his worldwide experience and expertise in applying VA and VE at project level and VM at strategic level to write a comprehensive book on the international practice of value management and other value methodologies and to recommend best practices. Good VM practice is a key to the missing link between projects and corporate or business strategy, it reinforces the stakeholder and benefits management, as well as governance principles of standards such as: Managing Successful Programmes (MSP, UK), P2M (Japan) and the PMI[copyright]'s Standard for Program Management and Standard for Portfolio Management. This book targets all managers who want to deliver business benefits that are in line with the organisation's strategy, while making sure that these strategies are achievable. It is tailored for business, program or project managers who have experience in running projects and want to achieve both the delivery of significant benefits and outcomes and improved stakeholder relationship management, as well as value managers who want to expand their horizons.
