Not many people know that there is a very remarkable legend in connection with the Straits of Gibraltar. There is supposed to be a tunnel connecting the Rock of Gibraltar with Tangier, in Africa, on the opposite shore. The author of this brilliant story makes use of that legend as the background of another encounter between George Marsden Plummer, the ex-Scotland Yard man turned crook, and Sexton Blake. You will certainly enjoy this yarn to the last line, but before you plunge into it, it would be as well to read the author's note.
