Reviews / Votes
It has been a pleasure to review this excellent volume. It will prove to be of value to academic and industrial practitioners of organic synthesis. I confidently expect that all reasearch laboratories will contain a copy. I hope that the publishers will be persuaded to standardise the drawings in future volumes - there are even differences within some chapters - so as to achieve a uniformity of presentation. Despite this minor criticism, all those connected with the production of this book are to be congratulated. * Harry Heaney, Chemistry & Industry * The good working procedures to be found in this book should make it possible to overcome all hesitation in using organometalic or organocopper reagents. The instructions are so detailed (apparatus, reaction conditions, preparation) that even a beginner in organic chemistry should hardly have any difficulties in follwing them. All important aspects of modern organocopper chemistry are dealt with in detail. s This is an excellent reference book that provides very detailed experimental procedures and expert commentary by the current leading researchers in this field of organocopper chemistry. * Synthesis * ...this is an extraordinarily useful book for the preparative organic chemist. Written by world-famous specialists, it offers easy access to organocopper chemistry. It should be available in every library. * Nachrichten aus Chemie * Authoritative, comprehensive, well documented account of the title subject. The format, presentation and even the price make this a highly recommendable first text in a new series. * Aslib Book Guide, Vol. 60, No. 8, August 1995 *More details
