Person
Dr Stephen Tapper's research career in mammalian ecology began with a study of a relative of the hare, the Rocky Mountain Pika. This study at the University of Alberta was conducted in the Rocky Mountains south of Jasper National Park. In 1974 he joined the staff of the Game Conservancy to conduct a study of weasels, and in 1979 he initiated a study on the cology of Brown Hares with Dr Richard Barnes - many of the findings of which are discussed in this book.
