John P. Tanner is President of John P. Tanner & Associates, Consulting Engineers in Orlando, Florida, and Adjunct Professor of Engineering Technology at the University of Central Florida, College of Engineering, Orlando. He is known for his work in production line planning for the high volume assembly and test of the Dragon anti-tank missile and for the production of commercial power supplies for point-of-sale terminals. A member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Mr. Tanner received the B.B.A. degree (1951) in economics and B.S. degree (1954) in industrial engineering from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, and M.B.A. degree (1965) in management from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.
