David Tanner began his government career at the White House with the Secret Service. Later he transferred to the Foreign Service in the U.S. Department of State, living in Beijing, Buenos Aires, Ankara, Belgrade, and Kuwait. He also completed temporary assignments in Bahrain, Jerusalem, Sofia, Budapest, and Bangkok. He now lives in suburban Atlanta where he is working on the third novel of the Russ and Rhonda Trilogy, Surrender on a Forgotten Isle.
