Going to the Fair

Part of a series which looks to the turn of the century and Victorian times, with the help of reconstructions, contemporary photographs, objects and documents. The children in this book find out how fairground people lived and how fairs were organized. They discover that fairs today contain many of the rides and stalls which their great grandparents would have enjoyed.
