Li Zhenzi brings a unique perspective to illustration, with a background spanning biology, finance, and art. She earned her master's degree in illustration from Falmouth University (UK) in 2022. Blending traditional and digital techniques, she creates visual stories that spark curiosity and wonder. Ji Zhaohua is a celebrated painter, author, and art educator. His picture book No! That's Wrong! (2008) was among the first Chinese picture books published in the United States. A recipient of the Wenjin Book Award, he has also served as a juror for the prestigious Feng Zikai Chinese Children's Picture Book Award. Tan Fengxia is a distinguished professor of children's literature and a two-time juror for the Hans Christian Andersen Award (2024, 2026)-- the highest international honor in children's books. A leading scholar who has conducted research at Cambridge and Munich, Professor Tan is, at heart, a lifelong storyteller who believes in the magic of simple moments. In The Cherished Tales Collection, she draws from her deep love of tradition and family to tell stories that bridge generations. She writes to remind young readers-- and their parents-- that in a fast-changing world, love, patience, and memory are the most precious things we can hold on to. She lives in Nanjing, China, where she continues to nurture the next generation of writers and readers.
