Land, Development and Design

This book looks at the re-use of urban land and buildings, including the economic, social and cultural issues. After an introduction describing the process of re-development and the legislative framework, the book is divided into three sections: land (site assembly, investigation, risk assessment and site preparation); development (feasibility studies, the planning and regulatory process, finance, tendering and construction); and design (important land use design issues and several case studies).
