Paup 4.0: Phylogenetic Analysis Using Parsimony (and Other Methods): Software (Source Code) and User's Manual for Unix and Vms

This is a major upgrade of a software package for inference of evolutionary trees. This version includes: maximum likelihood and distance methods; enhanced speed of the branch-and-bound algorithm; and several new features such as agreement subtrees, tests for combinability of data, and permutation tests for nonrandomness of data structure. It contains the software and user's manual for UNIX and VMS.
