Description
This presentation of diagnostic imaging of the temporal bone (anatomy, anomalies and ailments of the external auditory canal, inner ear, middle ear and mastoid, neurovascular compartments and the facial nerve) is enlarged from the first edition to include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) throughout the book to provide a basis for comparison with respect to magnetic resonance versus computed tomography for diagnosis. The inner ear section was expanded into two areas: bony labyrinth and cerebellium pontine angle.
