Such statements as 'Pirates made their victims walk the plank' or 'Pirates carried treasure maps' are examined, as well as where the ideas originally came from, whether they have any basis in truth, or whether they are simply myths. Each statement is given a TRUTH or BUSTED evaluation. Truth or Busted: Pirates is a swashbuckling great read for kids who love anything piratical!
