Sustainable Viticulture

This Special Issue, entitled "Sustainable Viticulture: Soil Fertility, Plant Nutrition and Grape Quality", brings together a curated collection of ten original research articles that explore key dimensions of sustainability in viticultural systems. The contributions focus on how soil properties, water regimes, nutrient dynamics, and vine management strategies influence both vineyard health and grape quality under diverse environmental conditions. Drawing from regions across Europe, America, and Asia, the studies highlight the complexity of balancing productivity with ecological stewardship in viticulture. They reflect a broad range of soil-climate interactions, as well as methodological diversity, including experimental and observational research. Collectively, this Special Issue provides scientifically grounded insights into integrated practices that support long-term vineyard viability while aligning with global sustainability goals.
