Description
A system that performs the automated synthesis of microwave matching networks using state-of-the-art algorithms. It has powerful design capabilities and is simple to use. The program synthesizes matching networks with arbitrary gain shape between real or complex sources and loads over a prescribed frequency band. Allowable circuit structures include lumped or distributed lowpass and bandpass structures; and lumped highpass topologies. The integrated optimization package allows close approximation to the desired response, and the mix of source and load impedance terminations offered allows access to the very large community of microwave FET amplifier designs. System requirements are: MS.DOS 2.0 or higher based computer with a minimum of 384 k of RAM, and a math coprocessor.
