Description
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles
available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Scheme In One
Defun (or Scheme In One Day) is a small-footprint implementation of the
Scheme programming language, written in C and designed to be embedded
inside C programs. It was originally written by Professor George J.
Carrette at Boston University as a demonstration in a laboratory. Scheme
is one of the two main dialects of the programming language Lisp. Unlike
Common Lisp, the other main dialect, Scheme follows a minimalist design
philosophy specifying a small standard core with powerful tools for
language extension.
