How To Find Source Materials

This guide is designed to help historians make the best use of the extensive collections on the history of science, technology, and medicine that are available in the various British Library departments. It lists each of the departments of the Library with relevant collections, giving a brief account of the printed, manuscript, and other materials held. It also lists the principal finding aids and publications which will be of use in planning a research program.
