The Shingle Beach

Set in Victorian London and Dorset, this novel is the author's sequel to "The Barleyfield". As Elizabeth Pengelly returns from Australia with her two daughters, we follow Catherine into the opium dens and Bohemian "demi-mode" of London in the 1870s.
