Maui

Cast into the sea by his mother at birth, Maui is nursed by a jellyfish until he is washed ashore and rescued by Tamanuikiterangi, a wise old relative who teaches him the art of magic. When he grows up he forces his disbelieving family to recognize him as their brother and son.
