Description
Before he became a priest, a bishop, and Pope, Karol Woltijya was a little boy in Poland. He grew up loving his parents, his siblings, sports, and, most of all, God.
Learn more about this great Pope and saint when he was a young boy -- and why it's never too early for an ordinary boy or girl to love Jesus and start on the path to holiness.
Illustrated by award-winning artist William J. Maloney and engagingly told by Dr. Jem Sullivan, Director of Research at the John Paul II Shrine in Washington, DC, KAROL: The Boy Who Became Pope is a beautiful introduction to one of the great men of our times, St. John Paul II.
