Sublime Imagination

The elegant illustrations in this colouring book were produced by The Dream State Studio, a team of gifted illustrators from Taiwan. The drawings are an intriguing combination of intricately drawn patterns that form stunning pictures inside each whole drawing, so that when the pages are looked at closely, individual designs are visible within each sketch. For example the image on the page might be a butterfly, but when looked at carefully, the wings are precisely drawn lion heads, which in turn are made up of even smaller, delicate flower motifs. There is plenty of scope for colourers to get imaginative with this beautifully, original book. As well as providing an antidote to the anxieties of busy life, this title offers artists the chance to look at a kaleidoscopic world and calm themselves as they colour in.
