Further Engineering Mathematics

This companion volume to the author's first-year "Engineering Mathematics" extends the self-instructional methods to the more advanced topics of a typical second-year mathematics course of study leading to an engineering degree or to similar qualifications at a comparable level. The book contains 20 programmes. The student is guided through the development of each programmed topic and assumes increased responsibility as mastery is achieved. Numerous worked examples are included, and each section concludes with a revision summary, a test exercise and a set of further problems, providing opportunity for further practice. A full set of answers to all the problems is given at the end of the book.
