Man hat wirklich den Eindruck, selbst mit ins Krankenzimmer zu Sam, Lee, Sandy oder Stephanie genommen zu werden und ihre Befunde präsentiert zu bekommen. Man ist bei der ersten Untersuchung dabei, erfährt die Laborwerte der Blutuntersuchungen und erlebt das Ansprechen einer Therapie. Darüber hinaus bekommt man noch sehr ausführliche Hintergrundinformation über die Pathomechanismen der jeweiligen Erkrankungen. Sicherlich richtet dich dieses Buch primär an Ärztinnen und Ärzte, die sich mit derartigen Erkrankungen konfrontiert sehen und sich damit auseinander setzen müssen. Es ist aber durchaus auch für all diejenigen äußerst interessant und lehrreich, die sich tiefer mit der Immunologie auseinander setzen wollen oder müssen, denn manchmal versteht man die Grundprinzipien eines funktionierenden Immunsystems besser, wenn man sich die Dysfunktionen genauer ansieht.
