Beginning Algebra: Form A

The third edition of this introductory algebra text has a new worktext format, printed on recycled paper, which is appropriate for lecture, learning labs or self-paced settings. New to this edition are "Retain Your Skills" exercises, that encourage cumulative review, chapter-opening vingettes that introduce an environmental theme from which applications are drawn throughout the chapter, and "Thing About These" exercises that promote and reinforce critical thinking skills.
