Our Joyce

Set in pre-war Bristol of corset and chocolate factories, of "service" and silent movies, "Our Joyce" paints the story of an ordinary, working-class woman's life. Opening with her birth in 1917, we follow Joyce through school, her first job aged 14, her first love and her marriage in 1939. The author also wrote "Joyce's War".
