"Accompanying the exhibition is a new catalog titled "Radiance and Reverie: Jewels from the Collection of Neil Lane" The 320-page illustrated catalog, co-published by the museum and Rizzoli Electa, was edited by co-curators Wright and Stoehrer, and features essays by Marion Fasel, Mayukh Sen, and Claudine Seroussi Bretagne. The catalog's essays explore important artistic movements of the 19th and 20th centuries, illustrated through Lane's collection, as well as American and European jewelry history. It will also dive into the Hollywood provenance of select jewels and Lane's role as a jewelry lender to the stars, documented through red carpet images and publicity photos. An interview with Lane will delve into his evolution as a jewelry designer through the years." - NATIONAL JEWELER"Radiance and Reverie: Jewels from the Collection of Neil Lane is a coffee table book that sparkles with Hollywood glamour, showcasing more than 150 legendary jewels by Cartier, Tiffany, Belperron, and more. With photographs of stars from Mae West to Madonna, it's the kind of coffee table book that will impress guests, blending fashion history, celebrity lore, and breathtaking design into a truly glamorous statement piece." - L'OFFICIEL USA
"It's a myriad of things, It's treasures, it's my mind's reeling with jewels that I've seen in my lifetime - the desire to have them, to own them, to touch them," he describes of the pieces in the book, published by Rizzoli Electa, edited by Emily Stoehrer and Diane C. Wright and featuring essays by Marion Fasel, Mayukh Sen and Claudine Seroussi Bretagne, who bring the stories of Lane's curation to life." - PEOPLE MAGAZINE
"What's lesser known about Neil is that he has one of the largest collections of early Tiffany & Co. in private hands. There are 40 examples in the exhibition. In a Murphy's Law kind of way, none of the Tiffany were available in the press images.Anyway, many are by Louis Comfort Tiffany including a Favrile glass design that looks like it would've sat alongside the jewel from Frankenstein when it was originally sold in the early years of the 20th century.Neil's collection also includes plenty of other rarefied names, the "if you know, you know" variety, such as Lucien Falize, Theodore B. Star, Wiese and the list goes on and on.Grab a copy of the catalogue published by Rizzoli to see exactly what I mean." - THEADVENTURINE.COM
