Description
In these turbulent economic times it seems that change is now, ironically, the only constant. If you have found that your job has changed (or been lost) in ways that you cannot control, then this is the book for you. Whether it's your manager, your job, your employment status, your working style, or your industry that's changing, this book is full of practical tips. And it's not written just for managers either - this book is written for people who are going through change, rather than those who are trying to implement it.
Reviews / Votes
'A comprehensive, easy-to-use guide packed with helpful techniques...'They focus on each issue from the perspective of the worker experiencing the change. This viewpoint is critical...'All in all, the book offers lessons that are relevant beyond the office. It will no doubt boost its reader's resilience and help them view change as positive opportunity - a must for the modern workplace.' * Tanith Dodge, HR Magazine * Sue Stockdale and Clive Steeper have written very practical, relevant and helpful books. I enthusiastically recommend Risk: All That Matters, Motivating People In A Week and Cope With Change at Work. The approach taken is thought provoking. The narrative is highly accessible with a very useful combination of case studies and internationally recognised models. These are all explained in a clear, concise and compelling way. On top of this the reader gains valuable insights based on Clive and Sue's very considerable experience. -- Ian Williams, Executive Director, Caplor HorizonsMore details
