Reviews / Votes
Natural Shocks bears Richard Stern's special mark: sweet purity of feeling joined to an enviable and dazzling knowledge of the globe's daily business. - Phillip Roth; ""Like all accomplished works of art, Natural Shocks moves along so easily and spontaneously that it virtually resists close examination.... Mr. Stern is a craftsman par excellence."" - New York Times; ""Stern is a remarkably deft and witty writer.... His theme - the retreat from human feeling and a reawakening to it - is as grand as any that fiction can accommodate."" - NewsweekMore details
