Gilded Nights

Helena Morrow's life has gone from strange to deadly. After escaping a hostile dark auction and facing a fight for her freedom - and sanity - she's no longer able to return to London as planned. The Museum, and her career, are a long way away as she builds up again from her whirlwind descent into the criminal underworld. The only constant she has is Korbyn: former PhD student, art thief, and vampire. Korbyn is all too happy to help, and offers her a continuation of their previous deal - she can remain with him, kept by him, in exchange for being his companion. After he smuggles them to his home, there are few other options, and while Helena is still stinging from his actions, something about him entices her. But Korbyn isn't the only one interested in the new person at the chateau, and there are obligations even older than his criminal connections waiting in the shadows... As Helena negotiates her way through the strange new family she's landed among, others wish to stake a claim on her blood, and heart.
